In 2013, Kory Porter and Andy Lyda had worked for an Idaho Health Insurance Carrier for over a combined 25 years. In the midst of the beginnings of the Affordable Care Act, one thing stood out, the employer market was being under-served for representation of their employee benefits.
Kory and Andy left the carrier side of the industry and teamed up with Brenda Traveller who had built a successful employee benefit brokerage. Together, Health Plan Partners was created. Through aggressive representation of our clients, putting together an experienced, talented team and giving our clients the tools generally reserved for the largest companies, Health Plan Partners has flattened the curve of rising insurance costs for their clients.
